Here is the very first glimpse of my latest deck creation, Guidance and Inspiration From the Angelic Realm. In the background you can see my first deck creation, The Egyptian Lenormand, originally self-published in 2014 and mass-published by Schiffer in 2015.
I began creating Guidance and Inspiration From the Angelic Realm (or GIFAR, for short) in early 2016. I have channeled Archangel Michael since 1996 and he inspired me to create this deck. The initial messages that I channeled for this deck came from him, but soon he was joined by Archangel Raphael.
As they gave me phrases to place on the cards I initially assumed this was to be a book. I wrote each phrase on a 3 x 5″ note card thinking I would take further notes on it for the forthcoming book. It was not until the archangels had given me about a dozen phrases that they began to show me swatches of color for each one. When I asked why they were showing me colors they told me the colors were meant to be the background of particular phrases. The phrases and colors are meant to correspond. I took notes and made color swatches on those note cards using colored pencils in order to be better prepared to create the final card images.
As I waited to be given more phrases I experimented with various artistic mediums to figure out which one I would use to create the backgrounds. I finally settled upon watercolor gouache, which is basically an opaque watercolor. I painted the backgrounds on 6 x 8″ mixed media paper by Strathmore.
Archangel Michael informed me about halfway through the process that I was to create a font that would require me to hand-letter every card. I originally intended to use the computer to type in the phrases and then print them out on the watercolor backgrounds, but he insisted that the font must be handwritten. He said it was important that I channel universal energy down through my crown chakra and out through my hands as I hand wrote each phrase. It took me several weeks to create and then to tweak the font that now appears on the cards.
Once I created the font the next stage was to write out the phrases. I wrote most of them out on scratch paper. Next, I used a light box to trace them out onto the watercolor backgrounds in pencil. I then used Sakura pens to ink in the lettering.
I am currently writing the guide that will accompany the deck. I am not sure if it will be a PDF that I send to everyone who orders the deck or if I will go through Amazon or some other service & create a guide for Kindle format, as well as PDF. As with the phrases on the cards, the guide is also channeled. There is a channeled message that accompanies each phrase.
Archangel Michael told me the deck was to have 44 cards. Archangel Raphael joined us about two months into the project so they would take turns coming through to give me new phrases. They told me the card images would be completed sometime during the summer; however, by May the entire project seemingly stalled with over a dozen phrases yet to be received. Then one day another presence with whom I was quite familiar informed me they were here to complete the project.
I am not identifying them here. Suffice it to say if you follow me on Facebook you probably know their identity already. I do reveal their name in the deck itself. This lovely spirit provided me with the remaining phrases that brought the total up to 44, thus completing the deck.
Guidance and Inspiration from the Angelic Realm will be available for pre-order very soon. I already have a sample deck and I really love the way the cards turned out. The printer did a great job.
